May your boat survive the ride in and your nets be full this year.

Any of you guys have a trick for knowing how to figure out when the ice starts coming off Deadwood Reservoir? I'm guessing it should start soon, right?

Small kokes at Deadwood means there should be some great trout and Chinook to catch which love eating those 6" kokes!

My buddy just got back from deadwood yesterday and he didn't have any luck on the big fish. The biggest was 3 lbs and he is very good at catching the big fish in deadwood10284

Beautiful picture, thank you very much for sharing. I havent been there for several years, that picture makes me want to return, ha ha. How was the road in, besides rough as usual. Were you able to catch anything of any size, I hear they are running rather small this year.

I went in over Scott Mtn it is rough but if you go slow it isn't real bad--The Kookanee are small and not worth a trip--I caught 5 Rainbows in the 5 to 6 pound range in 5 days--I also caught 2 small chinook that I was able to release--Fishing will get better when the reservoir is lower--right now it is full-- Best time is when it is at 50% full
