prop question?

from slc to fg i noticed a big diffarance in speed. do you guys change props for fg. how mutch diff are the 2 in pitch? thanx i have a 50 hrs honda 4 stoke that will do 36 on utah lake. but only 28 at fg.

Foe every 2" in pitch change your rpm will change about 300-400 rpm. I use a 10 3/8 x 13 for lower elevation and a 11 1/4 x 10 for the higher lakes.

Not sure of the pitch on my prop, But the elevation makes a big diffrence. You should see the diffrence from up here to down to lake powell
