If you lived in that part of the country where there were no kokes to target, what other fish would you go after? I've lived in a couple of southern states where people didn't know what trout was. But I used to fish alot for shell cracker(big brother version of a bluegill), crappie, catfish, and bass. A real sporty fighting fish I use to catch was an alligator gar. Those guys would bend you rod. Prehistoric worthy12
