I prefer a seperate GPS unit and a spererate fish finder. Both mine are Lowrance models. But the thing I like is having the larger GPS that I can zoom in and out with and still having the full screen for locating fish and depths. When I'am half asleep and it's o dark thirty in the morning, I want the biggest screen I can see so I know where I;m going. So far I haven't run into any rock walls or boeys so it must be working.

I'm with halojm. I have a Lowrance X100C sonar & the Lowrance GlobalMap 5200C chartplotter. The only issue I have is trying to fine tune the sonar. I'm getting close to having that taken care of. I like both units. Also, my eyes aren't of a 20yr old anymore.
