Strawberry 7/28 thru 7/30

This was our first time trying for Kokanee and our first time using down riggers. It took a little time to figure it out, but we learned by trial and error, and lost alot of fish! We ended up with 8 Kokanee, and about 15-20 cutts and planter bows. The fishing was slow over all but I was happy that everyone on my boat caught there first Kokeanee. We fished with kokanee killers, wedding rings, apex, and RMT. The only Koke we caught were on RMT, pink dogers, 50/50 pink and silver dogers, followed by UV pink squid, and pink squid. If it wasn't pink the they wouldn't touch it! We fished the SC side, in the narrows and straight out from the dock. We caught fish from 50' to 30 feet with 36 being the best. We also used Pro Cure Carp Spit on all lures. Best speed was 1.6 mph. Thanks for the tips LH2 and Kokehead. Here are some of the pics.
