Dad and I got back up to the lake yesterday. Started off trolling and got into them pretty quick. Before we got too many we wanted to try out a couple new jigging rods we got, so we anchored up and jigged for a while. After only 1 koke, it was time to start up the trolling motor and get back to business. By then the bite was non-existent, but persistence payed of. We got into em again, and it was back and forth action! Ended up the day with our limits, lost around 6 right behind the boat, and released a few smaller one's. Trolling produced useing altered Apex lures and UV sling blades. Speed was 1.7 GPS, but varied to entice strikes. Scent used was garlic dyed pink, kokanee special, and squid/shrimp/prawn. It didn't seem to matter which scent was used, they all worked. Had to adjust for depth, as they were scattered all over the water column. Marked alot of fish today towards the middle. Smoker will be busy tomorrow!thumbsup

Cool.... and what new jigging rods did you get? Just curious.

Kevin

Brian (Fallriverguy) highly recommended it...
Berkley Tactix Drop Shot/Finesse
Model#TXS661MLF
Line Weight 4-10LB
Length 6.6

After catching a koke on it the other day, I can see why it's a favorite of FRG. It's got good back bone for a quick hook set, and a sensitive tip to detect even the lightest nibble. thumbsup
