We took a quick trip up to the Gorge. We found the kokes right where we left them last time, but slightly deeper. 50-65 feet deep was best this time. From 5:30am until 8:30am it was lights out both mornings. It slowed after that and we were done both days by 10am. Our best rig was a Rocky Mt Tackle blue bahama dodger trailed by a UV white/purple haze hoochie. Pink UV hoochies also did well when trailed behind hyper plaid dodgers. Other rigs that worked well were RGT's, Serpent spoons (especially UV pink flash), and Apexes. Our biggest kokes were just over 4# and we caught very few under 3#. Lots of nice kokes. Here is a pic of some of the ones we took home.

Right on brett, there for a while i thought you had abandon us and i see now you just been hiding at the gorge. LOL

We will be heading up as well to give the new boat a try on the kokes. We have been fishing Anvil Draw area, anyone heard how Anvil is right now?

Nice going, Brett. I am done at Flaming Gorge for the year due to time and gas prices, but hope to hit Blue Mesa a couple more times here in Colorado.

Nope, I haven't abandoned you yet Jason. LOL Between scouting for the upcoming archery deer hunt and trying to squeeze out my last few koke trips on the year I haven't had much time for forums. I have quite a few PMs from other forums to respond to as well. So many questions, so little time! But, I'm still around and will post reports whenever I get a spare moment! And I swear I'll get those PM's answered by tonight!
