Last week I had the priviledge of celebrating my birthday at the Gorge. As many of you are finding out, the fishing conditions have been a bit tough the last week or 2 with the rising water conditions. Well, God decided to smile on me for my birthday and put me on some real nice fish. The boat must have had 25 - 30 fish that day and no dinks in the bunch.

Glad to see you had a great birthday thumbsup We had success early in the week also, but it fizzled by Thursday for us. I was hoping to meet you before you left to go back home. We didn't get down to Lucerne until late Wednesday afternoon and by the time I got to Bduck's camp Thursday night, you had already left to go back home. There's always next year thumbsup

The wife and I spent 4 days fishing for rainbows and browns in Montana and then went to the Gorge for a week. Sad to say, I could have stayed and fished longer. I guess retirement will make the wife a fishing widow. laugh hyst
