Lakers I caught on light tackle on Victoria Island NWT .
All but the big one were caught casting from shore .
All on a Fenwick Med trout rod , 14 lb test line.
Water temo was 36 deg , Trout were often near surface.
First 2 week in August 1976 .
I have the big one mounted .
The manager of Great Bear Lodge had aske me to keep 3 big ones to replace
3 trophy fish that had spoiled when a freezer had come unpluged .
The big one weighrd 51 lbs, the other 3 were between 35 and 45 lbs.
I caught 7 over 35 lbs that morning .
