I don't know if this is an original idea or if I just re invented it. I thought if Pop gear and Squids both work on the Gorge why not combine the two.

I'm not sure what the Kokanee think but it would catch a tuna or two! tooexcited

It does work on the gorge, with just one squid hooked to the swivel at the end, I have never tried it like that, if you don't like too much drag, you will be dragging quite a lot with that compared to a RMT flasher or one like that, that's just my .02 cents

Is that just for an attractor? If there is a hook on each of the hootchies, I believe you'd be breaking the "hooks per line" regulation.

my wife and I have bill fished several places and have used umbrella rigs that are just attractors used to bring fish either to the surface or to the back of the boat then reeled in and switched with a bait

I was thinking an umbrella rig off the ball like a ball flasher and the rod rig a couple feet behind.

I like the idea of the umbrella rig with blades instead of the usual swim baits better than the daisy chain as it would more closely resemble a school of small fish. At that point I might put a release clip where the trailing swim bait on the umbrella rig would usually go with a short set back! 101goodpost101
