Lake of the Woods report

Caught these and more at Lake of the Woods the last three days. I stayed at Aspen Point and the campground there is great.
Fish directly west from Lake of the Woods lodge across the lake in 42-43 feet in front of a large white log on the shore. Used a red buzzbomb tipped with tuna scented corn and added Mike's shrimp scented eggs. Lots of fish hooked and came off, perhaps due to warm water - 64 - 67 degrees. Fish right off the bottom and be patient.

Thanks for sharing I have seen a few jig and catch but not I. I did mention something about getting them to the boat didn't I laugh hyst did you try to get to four mile?

I did drive up to Fourmile Lake and the road to there is open.
It is also VERY washboarded and I'm glad I didn't have my camper on.
Fourmile lake is filled with debris amd the wind was howling. Even the boat launch was filled with logs.
The few campers that were there were in camp and I saw no-one on the lake.

I have just pushed the Debee out of the way with a trailer backing in.
I snagged a few drowned a few and left with a limit a LOW today and yes I hooked 5 that I counted for 20 before landing it. I lost a lot of fish again today; Temperature maybe? but they are crazy.....
