My son went to GP on Monday and fished by himself. One rod in the downrigger and one long line with 3oz. weight. He drug around ford fenders followed by a little brass spinner and green beads. for bait he used corn soaked in home canned tuna oil. He had a bad day Saturday with only one fish, not a happy camper. His mood changed dramatically after putting a quick 6 fish in the boat in the morning and then the catch slowed. He ended the day with 20 fish, one of which was a small trout that is not in the picture. I think he fed his cat!!
