Hi All!
Well I went out last night just after sunset.
Wx same as last time.
Anchored in the same place as the night before.
This time 6 boats out fishing for Kokes.
Schools of fish didn't show up heavily till 10:15
Using the same west coast dropper rig I started to hook into fish.
WOW! The Kokes were WILD last night.
Hit and fought hard!!!!!!!
Result:
Landed 3 Kokes - Landed 2 Brown trout - Lost 9-10
2 Kokes (very good size) jumped right over my boat and threw the hook in mid-air.
Dissapointed missing them -> BUT WHAT A THRILL!!!
Kicker to this story is I was the only one hooking into Kokes out of 6 boats.
Drove all the other boats NUTS! (Awwwwwnananana) LOL golucky
I swear that west coast rig attracts, teases, and makes the Kokes ATTACK!
Fish still silver in color!
Will let you know how it goes next time out!
Best regards,
SeaDog
