American Lake 10-11-10

Launched at 7:30 which is a little later than normal for me. Caught my limit - most were in the 13 to 14 inch range. Caught an 11 inch fish that I would have released but he was a bleeder so he went into the live well. Used my normal setup - 35 ft down.

My friend and I fish it at least 3 times during the week all the month of October, either before work or after. We're usually the only boat out there. We've had 30 fish days this past week, and some into the 16" range. The females have fully developed eggs, and some of the males are turning into their spawning phase.

Great time of the year to experiment with different gear out there!!! Gotta go, have to burn another pan of alder, smoking some coho we caught this weekend!!!
