I tried fried dill pickles at a restaurant for an appetizer and really loved it. So I made some today at home and loved them every bit as much.
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1 cup garlic & herb bread crumbs
1 Tbsp Onion powder
1 Tbsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp Cayenne pepper
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
frying oil @ 350°
Favorite dill pickles, whole or spears
Depending on pickle size, use 1/2 pickle or 1/4 spear. Dip in egg wash, roll in mixed bread crums and spices. Repeat.
Add twice coated pickles to hot oil for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Allow to cool on some paper towels for a couple minutes and serve with ranch dressing.
