I just got my work schedule approved for vacation. I will be taking every other Friday off from May till the end of Aug. I will be looking for some people to go out on my boat with me. I will be primarily fishing American Lake. See you all out there.

This is just some hear say ! I heard AMERICAN is producing a few kokanee as the past few weeks! : ) count me in eenakok AKA DB hehehehe !

Heading out as soon as boat gets tuned up. See you out there in my blue crestliner.. good luck

DB/eenakok,
I will see ya out there. I'm getting the itch to hit the lakes as well. As normal, you will see me out there in my Lund. Took it out a month ago for a dry run and am glad I did. Had some bad gas in it - almost died in the middle of American. Thought I was going to have to use the Trolling Motor to get back in. :) All is well now; the motor is tuned and ready to go.

I will be going to American soon. I hope to try, my new to me, motor out. I have to put some plywood at the back of my boat (transom) first.
Just look for old boat, old motor, old lady.

American Lake

Soooo, I heard a lot about American Lake & I am thinking of comming up this spring! What size are the kokanee there and what is the limit?
I spend a LOT of time at Lake Merwin Soooo if any of you want to try it let me know!

The fish we were catching last year were averaging 13-15" with the occasional 19-21".

The limit is 5 fish.

I am wanting to head to Merwin.. If I head that way, I will contact you! thanks.

Hmmmm - I'm with kokonuts. I've been debating making a trip up there based on you Northern boys reports. I'm just about goofy enough to drive two hours to catch 3-6 inch bigger fish!

Don't worry I won't increase the traffic on your lake. I'd only make two trips tops for the year.
