Hi All,
Well tommorrow is the 1st day of Spring.
Opening Day is April 16th here in Connecticut.
My 14' wooden Guideboat is ready!
3hp British SeaGull outboard cleaned and tuned.
Box full of new 6 and 9 gm Kodiak ice jigs in every color. - $2.99 each
New ES-25 ultralight spinning reel from Acadia Sports (8 ball bearings - very smooth - strung with 4lb. test original Fireline - gray). - $39.00
My new Lamiglas MBS702UL Kokanee rod (7') soon to be delivered.- $53.00
And will pick up my new Garmin echo 300c color fishfinder April 22 from Sails Marine - $181.00
All I need left is to stock up on a few cans of Shoe Peg Corn and some live maggots.
Oh! And take my 1st Mate, (Gordon Setter dog - MacDonough), with me out on West Hill Pond, Ct.
All I ask more is for a warm day, no wind, and a little luck from the fishing gods!
