East Lake Report, just back from 2 week trip

Fished East Lake the last two weeks. Caught our limit most days but Kokanee are very small. They were running 11 - 11 1/2 inches. We threw back anything under 12". Caught some 12 and 13's. I was able to get two nice 2# rainbows. There were a few nice browns being caught also. Very disappointing fishing 101chromefish101 after our Wallowa trip!!!!

Thanks for the report Kokaneegal...sounds like you had a good time. That area up there is a nice place to kick back even if the fish are small. Hope you stayed under cover the night of the thunder and lightning...got pretty loud here in town!

We were staying in a cabin that night. Had front row seats for the storm. It was amazing. Lasted a long time.

Al VOSE__Odell Report??

Took the Grandsons for a week of fishing hopping to get a MAC!!
NO LUCK the fish are far and few to be had one day was good for jiging
but the rest was 2 and 3 fish days? Largest was 14"
We left after 5 days just not worth staying the Mosquitoes are way out of control.
Used all the spray we had and it still was bad you open the door on the trailer and you had 100 of them waiting to get in.
