Strawberry crazy day 1-7-12

Me and few buddies braved the storm and headed up to strawberry and had a very crazy day. Fished in 15-17' of water and caught a few fish on jigs tipped with waxies. 4 wheeler problems, blizzard conditions, and a 24 inch slot buster on the first drop of the day. This one will go down in the books.

Nice fish Kody. I hope that wasn't your wheeler in the drink behind you. That don't look good. Glad to see your ok, hope the wheeler came out ok.

Yeah, that is one of our wheelers in the drink. We were able to rescue it and salvage a partial day of fishing. Watch out around pressure ridges, one side had 6 inches of ice and the other was only 1-2 inches and in the drink the wheeler went.101shock1101
