Got out this afternoon with friends for a short time on the water. Just around the corner from home, on the lower Mokelumne. Drifted roe for 3 fish 2 looked like twins at a nice fat 17". We had a conversation before walking to the river about rain coats. It looked so nice? Heard thunder, and felt the wind. We looked at each other and said "Time to go!" To late. At least it was hail, so we didn't get so wet! A nice warm up to next week. Gonna fish for spring chinook on the Rogue.
