Was up at CJ today. Had a little luck in the narrows, but never really found the crappie. Anyone had any luck lately or know where they are?

doesnt seem like they're biting anywhere. my buddy fished owyhee saturday and they caught three. he talked to a lot of boats and none were having any luck. he went two weeks ago and had the same results. they'll turn on one of these days.
I was asked bye my neighbor to go too CJ so she could run her boat for a while. It ran great. We tried a few places for crappie and I had too hits her nothing. When we came out I talk to two different guys one had two Catfish in the 5lb. class each. The other guy I talked with had twenty 20 crappie. HE said he caught them around the cliffs in the narrows. Most fish he said was at two and four foot depth. The third guy at cottenwood was in the slip area catching crappie at two foot. I hope this helps. Going myself in the morning to CJ.

Mike, Had a fair day today at CJ. My partner and I boated 60 Crappie today. Three and four ft. depth was the magic depth today. I had for gotten to grab my bucket that I carry my crappie jigs in, But I had a tackle box with odds and ends in it that worked out okay. Color of jigs didn't matter. Depth was the key. Some of the jigs I used were Steelhead Jigs.

Crappie No Good
Crappie fishing 4/30 was crappy. Three fish boated in all day of fishing. Berommiter reading was 29.66 way to low to be fishing.

Boated 50 on the 28th. Fish were on the bottom in 12-15 feet. It is hit and miss I think.
