So what is your favorite praire dog caliber? I have been shooting the 17 HMR for the last couple of years and love it. Just curious what other whistle pig shooters like to use.

I use 223 and 220 swift but that was when I lived in MN, now I live in the Pacific NW and have no idea where to go. any advice would be certainly welcome as I would love to get my dad out once while he is out this way. Please let me know if you have vermin

I use a 22-250 for most, 17 hmr for close stuff, when the Wyoming wind beta howling, I will jump up to my 6mm.

I use my 22mag for almost all my prairie dog,for the real long shots I will use my 264 mag.
