i went on my first real kokanee trip this morning. i did not catch a kokanee, but the trout were biting good on the hootchies and other kokanee lures. i need more practice using a downrigger and maybe i will do better.

if i am catching lots of trout while trolling for kokanee, am i going to fast or have i just not found the schools of kokanee?

well i caught the first kokanne today. really my wife caught it. at least i know there are kokanee in the lake now. she really outfished me today. she caught 11 trout and the kokanee. i only caught 6 trout. i fished with a dodger and squid and she used a krocodile spoon.
