Reports I got a lot of crab in the ocean (out side) inside the bays a lot of females a lot of crab are not full 1/2 empty. that what I recieved last week from guys fishing for Tuna and Halibut who drop pots

Yeah I encountered that 3 weeks ago in yaquina. Caught 2 jumbos though. Also heard offshore is unreal right now. Hope one of u guys has better news for me. With these falling rivers the crabbing should get better

The saying goes!! when you have months with an R in them thats the best month to crab just a little early at present my first trip last year was to netarts bay we limited out but the crabs weren't quite full and that was on 9 th of Sept. I caught my crab baits already SHAD also another killer is 2/3 razor clam in each pot crabs go crazy for them thats what the commericial folks use

Oh I know the saying. This the time the males start molting and if u hit the right hole you'll find jumbos. Just not lights out like in October. Luckily netarts has a high salinity for most of the year. I should pull out a few at worst. Just hoping someone has a report to get me amped. If it wasn't for my buddies not being fisherman I'd be chasing springers around on the nestucca. Hopefully I'll find something about the blue back bite.

Just had a friend stop by is a sandshrimp harvester that live at Netarts, sorry to say he reported the same as I explained. I'm going to green peter on saturday and try my luck Kokanee fishing been good there just hope the wind stay down

That stinks. Maybe I'll have to hit yaquina or siletz. I'll have a fun time getting my buddies up early for a bit of a drive after a bachelor party. Ha! I'll be awake that's for sure

Was at a family reunion last week in Lincoln City and crabbed for three hours in Netarts. Got 7 keepers with one being a little soft. Definitely not "lights out" crabbing, but the kids had fun.
