The wife and I decided to take a bike ride up to Featherville yesterday to check things out now that they have opened up the road to us outsiders, and was just amazed at just how far down the water level is. I've never seen it that low. Maybe they used all the water to fight the fire, I was thinkin'.........:-) There were boats on the water, but I don't know where they launched at. The main boat launch was high and dry with the water at least 50' below it. There was also a sand spit that was within about 100 yards of making it clear across. I talked to a couple of the Pine area locals, and they said they had seen it so low, that Lime Creek was a trickle. The fire sure put a damper on our fishing AR this year for sure :-(
