The Shad are starting to poke there nose in the Willamette/ take a youngster/ kid fishing/ great fish to get them started on and interested in . My favorite combination about 36 inch drop to 36 /48 main line to a green wiggle tail grub with a 1/8 green lead head works very very well. Numerious other stuff dick-nite spoons/etc. makes one of the best crab baits on the market. about 10,000 over Bonneville Dam.
