going uo to dworshak this wednesday, second time ever this time we are camping at dent.bringing all our flashers, dodgers ,rings and hoochies.hope to find a few kokes since wallowa really sucks this year!!!!!!any info would be greatful.

I fished Dworshak yesterday with a buddy and we put 50 fish in the boat. The fish are averaging 10.5"-13" this year and are nice and fat. We started out in Canyon Creek and the fishing was slow so we moved to the 1st large bay on your left past Freeman Creek it has a floating swim dock in it. We did pretty good in there putting about 20 in the boat. The fishing slowed down so we headed up to the the no-wake zone in Elk Creek. We put the remaining 30 fish in the boat fishing from the start of the no-wake zone trolling up to the corner and back. We caught fish anywhere from the surface down to 30ft with the down riggers. We couldn't target a specific depth where the fishing was really hot yesterday. I did notice that a faster troll in the 1.2-1.5mph range caught more fish than a slower troll for what that is worth.

Good luck, you shouldn't have much problem putting a few limits in the boat.
