I met Dr. OC at the marina. The next day I saw him on the lake. I had a nice steelhead in the box when we he pulled up for a sport report. About 15 minutes later we caught a nice male salmon then a second one on the other rigger. Hoping for the bite to renew soon.
This was a special day. The folks fishing with me had bought property on the lake in 1990. They had fished all over the world but had never caught a Nantahala Salmon. The old guy had Parkinson's disease but when the rod went off and I hand it to him, He played the fish with the finesse of the pro he is. What a rewarding day for all!
