Launched out of the north marina and headed over towards the feedlot. Started trolling at 2.5 mph and started catching wipers. By 10 am everything shut off for us. We tried everything in the tackle box an ended up trolling around the entire lake moving from 6' to 14' with out a bite. Decided to call it a day and troll back to the marina at 3pm, just after 3:30 in 8.5' of water a rod went bendo with another wiper. We followed that with 2 big female walleye's that we released as the one was losing eggs in the boat. And the last fish was a brute carp that we somehow snagged. The wind kept the coats on but otherwise a great day of fishing. I tried to add pictures but the I keep getting a red(!).

I have several friends that have been hitting it hard were most guys have been trolling cranks these guys have been pulling crawler harnesses suppended either with snap weights or off downriggers two feet off the bottom and at 2.5 - 3.0 mph and have been banging the wipers

Ah....I live a sheltered life here in eastern Washington and we don't have those. Sounds like fun though. Anyone got a pic of one of these creatures? May have to add it to the bucket list.....thumbsup
