Kicker and Main steering ?

I have a 40 Hp main Motor and just added a Minn Kota trolling motor.
Does anyone have a clever way to connect the trolling motor to the 40 hp so I can steer from the helm ?

I went to Idaho marine and bought a bolt wth universal pivots on the ends and it works very well. Easy to install and remove if needed. I leave mine conectected at all times.
If I remember correctly it was about $40.00.

This is an electric trolling motor, and the " throttle " is built into the handle . Where did you connect to the trolling motor ?

The front of the motors (both gas) have a plate with holes to bolt thru. Was very user friendly and as I said easy to install.
I am not sure how it would work with your electric? Good luck
