Late report, July 4-11, 2016

We had another epic trip to Flaming Gorge this year. Stayed at the Lucerne Marina RV/campground. Was able to fish five and a half days; only got blown off the water twice. Caught some beautiful large kokes up to 4+ lbs. We shared a lot of fish with our campground neighbors and the girls at the gas dock. My custom Murphy's Lollipop bug caught about 90% of my kokes. It was behind a RMT large watermelon dodger. Tortuga's Chrome Apex came alive on the 3rd day, and so both of us really only had to change lures on our 2nd rod. We had doubles and triples, so lots of Chinese fire drills. It was very exciting. Hosted a Potluck on July 9th, and thanks to all who attended. It was good to see old friends and meet new ones. We mainly fished the Pipeline, Middle Marsh Bay, and Breeze Hill.

Once again it was an amazing trip to the Gorge. We had fun, friends, food, and fish. My silver Apex caught at least 50 % of my fish. See you out there
