FG Trournaments 2022

We are trying to plan summer fishing trips to FG that avoid kokanee tournaments. Am not finding anything out of Buckboard or Lucerne for 2022 tournaments. Are tournament dates typically annouced later in the spring? Any help will be appreciated.

Lucerne marinas is usually the second weekend of May and Buckboard had theirs the second weekend off June last year. DU also has one but that one usually has a smaller crowd.

I understand trying to dodge the derby weekends, they can get crazy.

I would think that if you keep an eye on their websites they will update them when they set the dates for sure.

I don't fish them either. With my wife on the boat I fish for second all the time laugh hyst

I would suggest maybe giving them a call and inquire on the derby dates. This might help you in figuring out when you want to plan your trip.
