Howdy. I use an Ocean Kayak Trident 13. Rigged a Scotty mini downrigger right behing the seat on the STBD side, use a 3 pound finned weight I found online. Took a bit of tinkering to learn how to deploy trolling rigs without fouling them around the downrigger line, but soon got the hang of it. Also took some major adjustments to paddling style thanks to the considerable drag wantng to veer the boat hard right. Once I got all that dialed in, I started catching fish! What a hoot.

Oh, and yes I do have electronics.....a humminbird 570 HD DI combo with a side mounted transducer. Comes in REAL handy.
