  • I am looking for a place to buy the line releases for the down riggers. I only want the end piece itself. I normaly use seps and eventually the rubber falls off or gets hard. I have a lot of them that I would like to replace the releases only.
    Thanks

We fished Bass Lake this weekend in the annual trout derby. There were 11 of us and we caught only four kokes but they were 16" and 17"and fat. We also caught 6 tagged fish for a total of $280.
I am going to target kokes the next time I go there. These fish should be at least 19" by Sept.

We fished Bass Lake this weekend and only one keeper koke was landed in two days. It was a nice fish about 15" and fat. Last year at this time we were limiting with fish about this size almost every trip. I didn't really target kokanee because we are getting ready for the trout derby next weekend. There are a lot of times when we catch more kokanee than trout on this lake when we are trying to get trout. I heard a rumor that three years ago a smaller amount were planted than normal. This would answer the question of why we aren't catching as many as previous years.
Has anyone else had the same experience?

We are going to the Gorge in July. We are staying at Lucerne. We would appriciate any info on where to fish out of Lucerne.
My biggest kokanee was a 22" caught at New Malones res in Ca. We are looking forward to fishing in Flaming Gorge.
I have heard about the fishing tournament held there. When does it take place?
    Thanks TBtoad
