i usually spend 4 to 8 days on the gorge with several people , i do agree they should make the limit at least a 2 day limit , but i do like to fish for lakers and the limits on those are more than generous ,and allow you to fill your coolers with a lot of fish .it would be nice if they let you...

what i'm getting at is that it seems some of these north west lakes have a very high concentration of smaller kokes that will hammer anything put in front of them ,where lakes out west wift smaller populations but larger fish are a more finicky .

this flawed logic, it's possible another lure combo would have landed even more fish. i've ram cut plugs next to squids and not got a single bit on the plug but many fish on the squid . just sayin

i fished hide out friday afternoon ,size was so so but wow what a bite . it doesn't take long to limit out when your are hooking up 4 at a time.

i am very surprised by what you found because the really don't have many boats in that derby,( 80 teams this year) .on a lake that size you would be hard pressed to find someone from the derby out on the water . they strongly discourage release of kokanee also .
