    The Cannon Optimum

When my work place technology started getting this complex I retired. Give me a screen with arches and I'm fishing, that simple.

    Any updates for Buckboard

35' - 40' was the popular depth as was orange for color. However, if you were willing to commit a rod to the deep arches one could be rewarded.

    Report for Saturday

Good report. It has been slow for me for a few days now. One day they are there and the next day they vanish. Orange has its day and then back to pink.

New Rules for Lake Powell UT

I went down in April and just hired a guide so that I didn’t have to deal with it. Seeing Canyon walls with mussels going a 110’ up was heartbreaking.

    Grorge Possesion Question?

Only 3 per day regardless of where you caught them. If you are staying in WY, only 3 in possession and 6 in possession if staying in Utah. I'm generally not a reader but this year I've actually thumbed both State regs.

    And Buckboard reports?

Pipeline and south has been fishing for numbers but looks like another summer of dinkfest down here. I’m interested to hear what’s happening up north.

    question for gorge fisherman

I’ve heard that the fishing up north has been sucky so far early. As has been stated on other threads here, folks aren’t going to drive long distance and had to pay the new high fees.

Mounting downriggers on an old aluminum Tracker

In order for the screws to pull out, wouldn’t the front of the bracket have to dip down? With the gunnel support, I don’t see that happening.

Mounting downriggers on an old aluminum Tracker

Minimum of 3/16 but I would personally prefer the 1/4”, assuming material is aluminum.

Mounting downriggers on an old aluminum Tracker

Armondo, think two flat plates held together at the 90 by a piece of angle. At the bench, the vertical plate is bolted to another piece of angle on one leg of the angle and the other leg is bolted to the plywood seat top. Wood or lag screws would suffice at the seat connection assuming it is...

    Kokanee & Herring

Wonder if they are trying this as the 1/2 ass way to deal with the problem. 1,600 acre lake needs to be drawn down, poisoned and start over, IMO.

Any reports from the gorge Koke fisherman

Rufus60, I've been dying to learn how to Walleye fish and would love to fish with someone like yourself with firsthand knowledge. If you ever want a student, let me know.

2019 Lucky Peak Reservoir Kokanee Fishing Report

Did he hit you with the truck or boat trailer? If trailer, bet he didn't even know he clipped you.

The difference between the type you have used in the past and the tear drop is speed. The old rectangle blades will start to roll at relatively low speed compared to the teardrop. Where we fish at the Gorge, 1.7 - 1.8 mph is pretty common.
