I noticed from our recent trip that the size was what seemed to make them different colored. The smaller ones were lighther orange and larger were darker orange.

Me, my dad, and the girlfriend finally made it up to the gorge this weekend after way too long!!!! We launched out of Buckboard and dropped the rods down right out of the marina and within minutes had a koke and laker in the boat. We ended up catching some nice limits of kokes up to 19 inches...

Thanks Bduck, the bugs are very annoying out there for sure. The Wind is a neccessary evil to keep the bugs away now that its been a bit warmer. I noticed you live in Harrisville too, I live on 1100 north just off H89.

Me and the girl friend got a new camp trailer and have been camping up at willard. The bite has been ok with wiper, walleye and crappie coming on jigs, harnesses and crankbaits. Pick your technique. The crank bite seems to have gotten better with the warmer weather.

Nice petty, sounds like the bite is good. Looks like we are headed up this weekend. Hopefully we can get into them too.

I wish I had some fillets to give ya. Your making me regret playing catch and release. I guess I will just have to go back and make dinner out of it.

I flew out last week to Florida to visit my "fishing partner" for some fun in the Clearwater area. We hired gary with AllCatchCharters to take us out for the day on some inshore fishing and had a blast. Caught multiple species and the scenery was great. And I was outfished once again.

Seems like most have had similar success. We did talk to a guy that caught 3 in about 5 hours, however he said he fishes it hard every weekend and it has slowed down a bit.

They are good as it gets for white meat, if you ask me. All i do is put a little of my favorite seasoning, some butter, slap them on some tin foil and throw on the barbeque, and they are great.
