LOL I have 4 dodger binders that live in their own tackle bag.

I use the big zip binders that were designed for bass fishermen. Then I use my seal o meal and a 3 hole punch to make more slips out of gallon size freezer bags.

In Idaho, possession ends at your residence door step. This does not include your camper but allows you to can Kokes and not have your home invaded by an officer without a search warrant claiming to look for illegal game.

I use them for early season Kokes as well. Even though I use 9' rods that are very limber and fast, a high jumping Koke with a dodger isn't really on the rod at all times when top lining in the spring. As was mentioned above their mouths take time to toughen up as the season goes along.

I just don't see it. The guys from Cal are expert fishermen and great stewards of biomass. Glad you're out after them. We are doing a lot of hooking this year but it's with our new towing company All Safe Towing. Pulling on things that weigh in at 3,500 lbs or better has been a real rush! Hope to be on the water a bit later in the year!

Good luck. The kokanee are few and far between as it's mostly a small reproducing population vs. a large planter style lake. Try the dam and over by Big Elk.

I have a couple of Penn 209's but you really only need 6 colors and you've maxed out on possible depth at most optimum trolling speeds. I can't imagine spending the money I have into my Calcutta 700's and then loading them with lead core.

You really don't need a black box unless your boat tests hot, over .65. If it's under .65, it isn't necessary to mask bad stray currents. That being said, I do think having the correct current can increase your catch rate.

A lot of companies make minis. I prefer the mini Lymans but all of them work.

Tandem #4's. Either Octopus or Sickle. I tie them so the front hook almost touches the eye on the stinger hook much like Dave has pictured.
