Another Great Bear Lake Cisco Run - 2021

While it was certainly a unique cisco year as the little fish never came into the shoreline, so it made dip netting virtually impossible. It was clearly another stellar year for fishing by boat. I wanted to extend a note of thanks for my friends who braved the ice and cold weather to come out...

    Looking for an exceptional taxidermist

Sorry for the spam blast to the forum... however the connection on a taxidermist that was recommended to us is no longer doing fish mounts, apparently he's got arthritis and has had to give up the trade. We landed a record setting Bear Lake Cutthroat recently and are wanting to have it mounted...

Bear Lake Macks w/ Kokanee gear 9.4.2011

Huh....maybe the best kept secret about Bear Lake is using Flaming George goodies for chasing kokanee! My 3 year old landed the small (darker) 12.2 lber and my daughter landed this 18.2lb Mack today, both were landed using JJ Rods and RMT gear. Too bad Jared's stuff is just for Kokanee Ha...

RE: Hooking up Well, to answer your question, no, they do not guide nor offer any sort of formal guiding service. They get thousands of requests each fishing year for those seeking to join up with them and share some of their expertise and wisdom. Their time is extremely valuable and, like...

Yeah, to say it was easy fishing would be an understatement compared to what I am used to; Jared is a phenom at catching Kokanee for sure. We felt honored and very privileged to be able to have gone out with him for our first trip on the Gorge; it set a pretty high bar for sure!
