    --even with other brands... I have Suzuki 4 stroke and I find my 90 hp is quieter than my 9.9hp kicker. --Loudest was my old 2 hp ESKA truly air cooled.. because they do not have an enclosed engine the noise and rattle is unbairable.

    --Give up.. they will come right into our house if the screen is open so don't think they are afraid. --I fenced off a portion of the yard for plants and just wrote off the rest. --After a couple of months two deer managed to get into the fenced area and within a few minutes ate most of the plants.

    --fished Monte lk north of Vernon on the weekend... only boat on the lake and stormy. This lake has been stocked with triploid kokanee however we did see some spawn phase cruising the shoreline. I though maybe as triploid we could still catch some biting fish. --not many lakes as yet stocked...

    -for sure if you are catching spawners I would wait a few weeks and if no ice start again. -I dont fish near shore or obvious staging areas for spawn inlets. --One of the reasons to fish this time of year is if you get no wind, calm clear water.. not ideal for fishing but great for viewing...
