thanks red man jr and silver bullets i have been a subscriber for a long time to sts,bill herzog has done some great kokanee articles,i wish dave biser would update his book though, sorry this is my second reply did this thread get moved or am i seeing things

other than kokanee by dave biser,,,is there any other great kokanee books out there??i have lots of college study books from my school days,but these are strictly biology and icthiology based,,i cant find any like bisers book though thanks kk.violin

luckily i married a true outdoor women, and my kids are big hunters and fisherman and women,and on our honeymoon 12 years ago we fished steelhead 4 days in erie then spent 4 days in the poconos skiing and doing other celebratory things,as BOBCO would say only in the hills of pa,yeeeehawthumbsup

i will skin a catfish,but i also find the meat stays much more moist when leaving the skin on the kokes especially while smoking them,they do not dry out as much,even when they are red at spawn time i still leave the skin on to smoke them and they taste as good if not better than the silver...
