    Buddy and I fished Yale last week 32 in 5 hours, pink and green wedding rings were the hot colors with pink corn soaked in tuna oil using both arrow flash and sling blade dodgers. No DR's used 3oz out 25 to 35 feet. trolling across from launch to island

    yup that's the way it's been, some get a few and others get nothing, over all pretty slow and to this point pretty disappointing. Well, good job getting 5 thanks for the report.

    We didn't have DR's so early on (6AM) we managed 3 right off the bat, all 3 caught out 75 feet with 1oz of weight using an gold Arrow Flash/UV flasher and a white hoochie, we also got one on the UV red eye sling blade with a Pink hoochie.     fished Merwin today, wind was a howling!!! tough fishing managed to pick up 6 but it was tough trolling in the conditions.

    I too was at Merwin on the 11th, very slow, fished with no weight as well as with 1 and 2 ounces, green hoochies, pink/blue and all pink caught the fish. No DR's so was going out 25 to 75 feet.     water conditions are a green and cloudy, water level was a bit down but ramp and docks very usable. one boat out...... my hats is off the those guys as it was sunny one minute the raining like heck the next.

    The wife and I drove up to Merwin and Yale today just to check the water conditions out, it was a cloudy green color may keep the bite turned off for awhile but perhaps the warmer weather we are about to get this week will help???? May give it a shot mid week or so.

    After yesterdays rain I would think there's plenty of water in all 3 bodies waters to launch, Swift is closed however. I would be more concerned about road conditions at this point do to the heavy rains as there may be some slide or wash out issues up in the hills. Probably should to check with...

    Had one of those stupid birds grab a Rapala once got a mouth full of treble hooks he was a hand full to get unhooked as you might imagine.
