I too was at Merwin on the 11th, very slow, fished with no weight as well as with 1 and 2 ounces, green hoochies, pink/blue and all pink caught the fish. No DR's so was going out 25 to 75 feet. Landed 7 one of which was tiny that we threw back. The fish are really spread out, it was a great day...

water conditions are a green and cloudy, water level was a bit down but ramp and docks very usable. one boat out...... my hats is off the those guys as it was sunny one minute the raining like heck the next.

The wife and I drove up to Merwin and Yale today just to check the water conditions out, it was a cloudy green color may keep the bite turned off for awhile but perhaps the warmer weather we are about to get this week will help???? May give it a shot mid week or so.

After yesterdays rain I would think there's plenty of water in all 3 bodies waters to launch, Swift is closed however. I would be more concerned about road conditions at this point do to the heavy rains as there may be some slide or wash out issues up in the hills. Probably should to check with...
