2023 Anderson Ranch Reservoir Kokanee Report

Not sure what happened to the dock, someone else also told me about it. Interesting, we also caught more in the wind on Wednesday than we did when it was calm in Thursday.

2021 Anderson Ranch Reservoir Kokanee Report

Curlew open, Pine is low. My wife and I visited Anderson yesterday. The lake is quite low. The Pine ramp pavement goes about a foot into the water, the dock is out. At Curlew, the pavement extends deep enough to launch, and the dock is useable in the water. Very few boats out on the water.

Pine bridge project status? Hi, I'm hoping to head up to Anderson Ranch next week, and was wondering if they ever finished the bridge project near Pine so you can drive around that end of the lake? Thanks- Bob

2018 Lucky Peak Reservior Kokanee Fishing Report

My wife and I fished the Gooseneck Bay on Th. Tried DRs at 20 and 25', and pop gear for trout. No kokes and nothing on the DRs, but four trout on the pop gear at around 5 to 7' (1 to 1.5 colors). Sat, took my son and grandson out to the same area. Just targeted trout with pop gear and...

2018 Anderson Ranch Reservior Kokanee Fishing Report

My experience is similar to Snowman's. I used to live near the coast, and always looked forward to catching and eating ocean fresh chinook salmon. A couple of years ago my wife caught a 23" (approx) chinook at Anderson Ranch. When we filleted it we noticed that the meat was white, not pink...

My wife and I camped and fished Anderson on the evening of 6/27 and 7 to 1 pm on 6/28. On 6/27 we fished out from Curlew and caught 9 kokes to 17", and a 14" chinook. DRs from 25 to 35'. Watermelon, copper/chrome, and blue/chrome dodgers with pink hoochies or pink bead spinners, all with...

2018 Anderson Ranch Reservior Kokanee Fishing Report

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same ramp, but I have launched at the campground south of the airport (and Pine), on the west side of the lake. I haven't been there this year, but last year it was a good ramp with a dock and good parking. But one windy afternoon, a lot of debris blew...

2018 Anderson Ranch Reservior Kokanee Fishing Report

My wife and I took another couple and fished from around 9:00 to 3:00 yesterday; we ran four rods. Caught 15 kokes and at least 6 chinooks, from 15 to 25' on DRs. Dark dodgers and pink hoochies with plain corn at 25' were best. Lots of boats, but the people we saw at the ramp were courteous...

Spring Shores Launch open? Hoping to take the boat out on Tue for the first time this year. Is the launch ramp at Spring Shores usable, or do we still need to launch by the dam?

2017 Arrowrock Reservoir Kokanee Fishing Report

My wife and I fished Arrowrock today, from around noon to 3 pm, from the start of the narrows to just past the South Fork. Beautiful day, temps in the mid to upper 30's with very little wind. Tried various offerings from the surface to 25'. No kokes, but caught four trout, and lost another...

Thanks for the report Hooknhunter. Did you launch at Curlew, or the dam?

2017 Lucky Peak Reservoir Kokanee Fishing Report

I went to LP on Sunday afternoon and launched at Turner. The ramp was still in the water and I didn't have any issues. Took my 5 year old grandson, so it was a quick trip. Mainly targeting trout near the dam, but no bites. Another fisherman said most boats were fishing further up the lake.

2017 Dworshak Reservoir Kokanee Fishing Report

My wife and I camped at Freeman Creek, and fished the mornings of June 20, 21 and 22. On the 20th we fished near Canyon Creek and caught 12, on the 21st we fished the same area and caught 18. On the 22nd we went about 3/4 of the way up to Elk Creek, but it was very slow and we only got one...
