Hey I was just wondering what line size everyone is using for fishing the Kokes. I fish the Gorge all summer and am using 10lb p-line. Do you think this is too big and I should down size to say 8lb? And what would be the advantages vs disadvantages? Thanks brent

Thats what I have done every year is just check the fluid levels. I didnt know there could be a sludge problem. What do you reccomend? Should I just drain and add new fluid or take it in and have the mecinics flush it?

This is a very good question. We fish the Gorge and I would say I mostly catch koke's when fishing for koke's. Probabaly 1-2 percent are non koke species when targeting koke.
