WOW...what a hog! If IGFA recognizes it as a new all tackle world record I don't think it will stand for very long. I'd be willing to bet that a 10 pound+ will come out of Wallowa before the end of the year.

The most unique thing about my boat is that it's a diesel powered jetboat. It has lots of tackle and rod storage. It also has a Garmin 5212 GPS/fishfinder/chartplotter.

Is the parking lot at Whitcomb bigger than Thistle? Thistle is just too tight for a long bed crew cab with a 24' boat!

I use 2 crimps and have not had any problem. They're the same crimps I use for wire line on my "big" Sturgeon rods. The biggest fish was over 12' and no slip.
