I have only managed to scratch out a few small koks there, there are some there, early spring is your best bet, lake is only 70ish feet deep and surface column is already 70+ degrees. lots o rainbows and tons of crawdads...
IMHO... Koke fishing as a whole is better than last year, the fish are definatly bigger. They do seem to be a bit more finaky this year. If you dont have the right presentation, they are hard to get, but if you search there are a few of us that have quite consistant success. I think the biggest...
sooo.... I spoke to the coasties down at sunnyside (?) and they told me that the whole inlet for thistle is suposed to be a no wake zone... I was told that everyone that notices violators, needs to call the lynn county sherif and report violators, no need for HID#. I was told that with enough...
the fish at Odell are running bigger than years past, instead of the 9-10 inchers, your getting 10-12 inch plump ones.

We started out at first light in the famous "Cannon #1" troll area. We managed to get 8 all the way to the boat before the clouds burned...
GP, you can boat in and wild camp.
Odell, there is one remote boat in campground, not many other places to wild camp at odell, either the highway, train tracks, or your in front of the cabins...or steep cliffs.
