Im fairly new to Kokanee fishing also but went the past weekend and caught several Kokes and Rainbows. The fish have a ton of fight in them right now which makes up for less quanity. We missed or lost quite a few don't know why, they seemed to be hitting pretty hard.

Between Spring shores and the dam about 3/4 of the way to Spring shores. We were trolling 40ft deep and using the blueish white irredesent dodgers with peach squids with maggots. Also had flashers on downrigger ball and that really helped. Only had it on one and that pole was hot until I set...

We caught 8 nice rainbows and 7 kokes Saturday and Sunday. Fished all day both days to get them. Had about that many bites and lost fish.
