    Lucky Peak

Things picked up today at LP.. Sorta slow early but picked up around 11 am and the fish were nice--kept 2 limits and one limit was all 17 inchers and the others were 13-16. Orange was a good color and they were at 24 feet. Only saw a couple of other boats out there so we had a great day!!!

    Lucky Peak Picking up

Today was just as good. Took our time but limited out by 2pm. Some 17 inchers down to a foot long. Same set ups for me but my buddy did real well on a orange Kokannee killer with double d's flasher. We fished up towards arrowrock again and had to look around a bit to find the fish.

The fish seemed to be at 20 feet--fished deeper at several levels but almost everything came from the 20 foot area. Going to try it again on tuesday...

    Lucky Peak 2009

The best place to put in is at Spring Shores as that is where the fish are most of the time. I use the Double dees in line because there is so little drag with them. The fish are big enough that you dont have to worry about them not kicking loose from the downrigger. We also use trolling...

    Lucky Peak 2009

The fishing has started-really nice fish for this early in the year-caught one 17 incher and 3 in the 15-16 inch range. Using the old reliable Double Dees flasher and a pink wedding ring or a Kokanee killer worked best and as always some shoepeg corn. Look forward to hearing your results and...
