I called buckboard yesterday and she said they bay had not frozen in with this cold weather so you should be good to go! We will be going out of Buckboard on Saturday, hoping for a productive day on the water chasing anything that will hit the end of my line!

I'm pretty sure there would be a hell of a turnout for those meetings! I have done quit a bit of tackle additions myself this off season. Looking forward to giving everything a try. Sounds like the lake has been getting some attention with this early spring weather, can't wait to give her a go...

We Fished Saturday Morning out of Buckboard and headed south. Fishing was slow until about 7:30. We found a pocket of fish all to our selves and pounded 24 fish in about 2 hours. UV orange Squid was the ticket! After a while more and more boats came into the area we were at and the fish shut...
