    Were the fish biting the day you took this pic? I have seen them hammer the rods when they school up (ie fallriverguy post). when my sonar is similar to yours I have had "hit or miss" luck. I get fired up and start chasing fish higher or lower in the water column (lunker at 30' feet dude!!)...

    Fished Beryessa today 12/6/12 and made the mistake of staying in one spot (the dam) to long instead of moving into ther narrows where fish were being caught. During the outing I snapped a pic of my sonar screen to ask a buddy "what am I doing wrong?". Got me thinking....does anyone else have...

    Caught 1 Kokanee later in the morning (9:30am) 16". I also caught a couple trout. one weighed in at 2-1/2lb. I caught the trout while putting my kokanee lines on the downrigger balls. One trout take happened before I put the rod down. Consensus on the lake was that the fishing today=slow...

    Hello everyone! Fishing Berryessa tomorrow (Sunday) for Kokanee and Kings. Any word on the bite? Im seeing a few reports of fish 45ft+ in depth. Any opinions seps dodger vs Shasta tackle UV slingblade in 45++ feet of water? thinking of dropping the UV slingblade 110 for kings?
